I love making things, I love creating, but my favourite is doing quick, cheap crafts that make a big impact.
I have made these pom poms for several baby showers, birthdays and with the boys a couple of times (though that was slightly more stressful !!! a one and a two year old with scissors and lots of tissue paper = not relaxing fun!)
I promise you they are incredibly easy to make if you follow these simple instructions http://www.marthastewart.com/how-to/tissue-paper-pom-poms-how-to .

They can be used for decoration in nursery's and children's room also.
Here is a link to one of my favourite nursery of all times. I'm sure I would have copied completely had I have ever had a girl instead of stinky boys http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/nursery-tour-ashley-89192

Don't they look fab?!
I always get my tissue paper from spotlight as its the cheapest I've found and they have quite a good range of colours, but you can buy tissue paper in bulk over trade-me or stationary shops if you were wanting to make ALOT!
